Silvie Claes
Silvie Claes is a Belgian-born, India-based founder, artist, and brand architect working across art, space, systems, and sensory experience. Her work is shaped by patterns, perception, and friction — the hidden cues that reveal how people feel, move, connect, and remember. Trained to think through form, sequence, atmosphere, and human behavior, she creates work that sits between structure and feeling, utility and ritual, system and story. She is especially interested in how technology can heighten awareness rather than flatten it, translating invisible layers such as rhythm, tension, memory, environment, and emotional texture into perceptible experience. This approach comes through in Sonic Lens, an ongoing art-tech app and installation developed in collaboration with CODAME. The project explores how moving images, context, and environmental cues can be translated through a series of lenses into sound and visual interpretation. In that process, the by-product of these lenses becomes an artwork in itself: Sonic Lens shaders that capture the fleeting character of a moment and allow it to echo across time. Rather than simply representing an image, the work asks how a moment can be sensed, layered, and re-experienced through another medium.
